Love’s Zephyr
As a young, green leaf in the warm spring breeze,
My heart trembles with the glance of the Beloved.
With each caressing zephyr of His love-laden eyes,
My stem is loosened.
Oh, but would He look long in my eyes,
That my heart might break free,
And on the wind of His love,
Soar heavenward!
